Shonalanga St Lucia Backpackers
We are situated in the heart of St Lucia, a small town in the World Heritage Site. Shonalanga is within the proclaimed Greater St Lucia Wetland Park Reserve, the largest lake in Africa.
Stay in a classy, fully equipped apartment and enjoy game drives and activities in and around St.Lucia. Rates are cheap, 4 open game-viewing vehicles and our guides are well trained. What's more, boat cruises to see the hippos and crocs are offered at the lowest possible rates.

Bibs International Backpackers
Bibs is comfortably nestled on the banks of The St. Lucia estuary. The water is only a short hippo-waddle away. We have a covered open air bar and a big BBQ area. Get connected in our broadband internet café. Also don’t worry about washing the dishes, we are fully serviced until 10pm daily.

Guided morning walk in the St. Lucia Park. Spot zebras and wildebeest.
Beach shuttle in the morning and back again in the afternoon.

You don’t have to work for National Geographic to experience Zulu culture. At Veyane you’ll learn about the legends, myths, coming of age ceremonies and Ubuntu - the feeling that everyone in the community is family. Rooms are beehive huts made of reeds.
